AREAS OF ACTIVITY

We are leading by example in the process of energy transition towards decarbonization

Not only on a metropolitan scale, as many of the systems and technical areas in which the agency works are not limited to the borders of the municipality, such as mobility and circular systems (water, food and waste), but also on a national and European scale, in line with the objectives of the 100 Smart and Climate Neutral Cities Mission, of which it is a part through Communication and Education for Sustainability.

VISON

To make Lisbon climate neutral by 2030, able to react to the climate emergency, ensuring sustainability and the inclusion, security, and resilience of its citizens.

MISSION

With its experience and technical expertise, Lisboa E-Nova intends to be the catalyst of the city’s transformation to achieve climate neutrality by 2030.

WHAT DRIVES US

A journey of collaboration
and goal alignment

Since our inception, prompted by the Lisbon City Council, we have been providing technical support to the municipality in adopting European commitments in the climate field.

This support, materialized in the provision of information and specialized knowledge, strengthened the municipality’s position in the European scenario, allowing its alignment with the European Union’s climate objectives and the development of a more sustainable and resilient city, promoting a greener and healthier future for the community.

We are driven by the pursuit of general interest and common good and believe our meaningful interventions to inherently contribute to these purposes.
