Students Reinventing Cities Competition | Lisbon
The Fifth Edition of Students Reinventing Cities Is Now Open!
Lisboa E-Nova, in collaboration with the Lisbon City Council, is participating in the C40 “Students Reinventing Cities” competition. This global initiative invites students and universities to propose innovative ideas for sustainable and inclusive urban transformation.
Cities around the world – Amman, Barcelona, Bogotá, Bucharest, Chicago, Jakarta, Lagos, Lisbon, Nairobi and Rome – have joined the competition and are seeking solutions to reimagine urban areas as green and thriving neighbourhoods.
This year, the city of Lisbon invites the submission of innovative design ideas that promote climate resilience, inclusion and sustainable mobility along the Northern Green Corridor of Lisbon.
Located in the parish of Carnide, bordering Lumiar and São Domingos de Benfica, the Maria Droste area lies at the heart of Lisbon’s northern urban ring, connecting residential neighbourhoods to the city’s ecological network.
Proposals should explore how housing, ecology and public space can coexist within a climate- and environmentally positive urban model.
